About the Role

SPG Inc. is looking to hire a full-time SME Policy Associate focused on SCIF Construction Projects, Consulting, Training, Instrumentation Testing, and other contracts related to Secure Facilities activities based in the DMV area. Preferred candidate will have an in-depth understanding of compliance issues related to Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 and DoD government and company security policies, requirements, and procedures. Candidate will be willing to assist with proposal reviews and preparation and have some experience with multi-disciplined security support, including technical, physical, operational, personnel and information security related to programs, facilities, and capabilities. This position entails a high degree of organizational capability, tracking and documentation, multi-tasking, flexibility for occasional travel and finely honed interpersonal capabilities to build long term customer “partner” relationships. As stated, a working knowledge of ICD 705 and NISPOM requirements will be an important foundation and a primary requirement.

  • Position will require some travel

  • Must be a US Citizen


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting and implementing facility physical and technical security requirements IAW NISPOM, ICD 705 and ICS 705-1/2

  • Construction background, preferably Superintendent or PM

  • Knowledge with Best Practices Guideline for Architectural Radio Frequency (RF) Shielding, TEMPEST and RF countermeasures

  • Protected Distribution System (PDS) CNSSI 7003

  • CNSSAM Tempest/1-13 (Red/Black Separation guide)

  • Perimeter protection, intrusion detection, access control

  • Completion of Accreditation documentation (Construction Security Plan (CSP), Fixed Facility Checklists (FFC), TEMPEST Checklist, Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Access Control System (ACS), Protected Distribution System (PDS) etc.)

  • Knowledge in SCI, SAP and DOD Programs and Accreditation Processes

  • Experience with Architectural Drawings/As-Builds/Schematics

  • UL2050 Standards


Additional Qualifications

A clearance is not currently required, but preferred.
