Service Description

The ICD 705 “Advanced” Physical Security Course has been designed for a unique niche of ICD 705 trained individuals and/or those with SCIF practical construction experience who may find they are left with more questions than answers on how to achieve performance in seeking compliance with the “gray areas” of ICD 705 interpretation. The ultimate goal is being on the same page with the Accrediting Official (AO) in both interpretation of adequate countermeasures and solutions for technical issues leading to accreditation.  Our experts created this course to help address this current need in our Community.  This course will primarily address the requirements of ICD 705 series documents (ICD 705, ICS 705-1, ICS 705-2, and the ICD 705 Technical Specifications), but will also touch on other documents that may have bearing on accreditation, such as those related to TEMPEST. Please note that all participants must be US citizens.   A basic agenda for the four-day course is as follows: - Day 1: An entire week of ICD 705 training in one day – The Instructor will provide a one day refresher lecture covering all of the primary elements of the one-week ICD 705 course but with focus on specific areas commonly misinterpreted or not well defined. The purpose of this instruction is for the class to uniformly have a common framework for discussion for later technical discussions - Day 2: Participant “practical exercises” in a teams-based setting exploring real world issues with compliance, many being common and repetitive mistakes and errors made by Industry that complicate the accreditation process. Students will work collaboratively in groups to find uniform solutions, with comparison vetting to the Instructor’s “school solution.” - Day 3: Continuation of participant exercises and collaborative format. *Note: Caution will always be exercised in preventing discussions that may become of a sensitive or classified nature. - Day 4: Review of final exercises and presentation of awards and certificates. Additionally, the last day will include presentations on RF and TEMPEST impacts to projects, with updates to more recent changes and requirements. - Day 4 Conclusion: Q&A
