Advanced TEMPEST Shielding Class
A 4-Day Interactive Course
- Starts Mar 11, 2024Starts Mar 11, 2024
This course will open for registration November 1, 2023. The Advanced TEMPEST Shielding Class has been designed for those with practical SCIF construction and RF experience who may still struggle to find guidance on best practices and coordinating compliance with ICD705. With confusion surrounding TEMPEST/RF countermeasures in SCIF construction, it is sometimes difficult to predict the requirements of the CTTA and ensure accreditation. Our experts created this course to help address this current need in our Community. A basic agenda for the four-day course is as follows: • Day 1: A "crash course" on TEMPEST led by a former CTTA. Lecture format will have frequent breaks and opportunities to ask questions. • Day 2: Instructor led participant “practical exercises” in a teams setting based on real world issues with compliance, many being common and repetitive mistakes and errors made by Industry that complicate the accreditation process. Students will work collaboratively in team working groups to find uniform solutions, with comparison vetting to the Instructor’s “school solution.” • Day 3: Continuation of exercise format. • Day 4: Field trip to an RF testing lab. The instructor will demonstrate testing equipment and describe common testing procedures. The instructor will also explain the difference between lab testing and field testing. • Day 4 Conclusion: Awards and certificates will be presented to students. Instructor will hold another Q&A.
Refunds are only permitted 14 days prior to the course start date. If any attendee requests a refund within 14 days of the course, a credit will be issued for 365 days to be used for another course. If the credit is not used by the 366th day, it will be surrendered. SPG is not liable for any costs or expenses due to travel, lodging or meals. Any attendee who registers and does not meet the requirements for registration will not receive a refund.
