Course Description

Advanced TEMPEST Shielding Training What sets SPG’s Advanced TEMPEST Shielding Training apart? It’s immersive, it’s practical and it’s built around your real-world challenges. The Advanced TEMPEST Shielding Training bridges the gap between policy and practice, helping you confidently address real-world RF/TEMPEST requirements. This course is led by instructors who’ve not only taught the policy but implemented it across hundreds of SCIF/SAPF projects. The Advanced TEMPEST Shielding Training has been designed for those with practical SCIF construction and RF experience who may struggle to find guidance on best practices and coordinating compliance with ICD 705. The complexity of RF countermeasures and TEMPEST in SCIF construction often makes it challenging to align with CTTA expectations and obtain accreditation. Our experts created this course to help address this current need in our community. Please note that all participants must be US citizens to be eligible to attend. WHO SHOULD ATTEND Anyone involved in ICD 705 or SCIF/SAPF design, construction, security, facilities, engineering or program management will find benefit in taking this training course. AGENDA FOR THE THREE-DAY TRAINING Day 1 – TEMPEST Shielding Mitigations Overview & Testing Demonstrations A fast-paced, expert-led introduction to TEMPEST shielding mitigation strategies, featuring insights from leading industry professionals. Includes a live demonstration of testing equipment to provide participants with a practical understanding of its operation and capabilities. Day 2 – Practical, Team-Based Compliance Exercises Hands-on, instructor-guided team exercises tackling real-world compliance challenges. Participants will identify common industry errors and work collaboratively to develop and present vetted solutions. Day 3 – Final Presentations & Wrap-Up An overview of additional information that supports key concepts. Teams present their final projects, applying the skills and knowledge gained during the training to demonstrate mastery of key concepts. The day concludes with awards and conferral of certificates to participants.
